22nd Bankes Arms Beer Festival 2017
From humble beginnings in 1995, which offered a modest 40 beers, the festival has grown year on year, and now attracts thousands of people who enjoy over 200 great beers and ciders plus great entertainment over four glorious days. These days the Festival has stalls, face painting for the kids and plenty of barbecues to keep hunger at bay. The location couldn't be better either, right on top of the Studland cliffs overlooking Old Harry's Rocks.
THE BANKES ARMS
With a garden overlooking the sea, two log fires and food served day and night, the Bankes Arms is perfect to visit all year and, with ten B&B rooms, is a great base to explore Purbeck and the Jurassic coast.

THE ISLE OF PURBECK BREWERY
The success of the Beer Festival was the principal inspiration behind the Isle of Purbeck Brewery, which started brewing in 2002. The brewery now supplies pubs and events throughout the UK.
