16th BANKES ARMS BEER FESTIVAL 2011
From the humble beginnings of the festival in 1995, which offered a modest 40 beers, the festival has grown year on year, attracting thousands of people who like great beers, delicious cider and great entertainment over four glorious days. These days the Festival boasts a Champagne Tent and Pimms Tent, as well as stalls and barbecues. The location couldn't be better either, right on top of the Studland cliffs overlooking Old Harry's Rocks. |

THE ISLE OF PURBECK BREWERY
The success of the Beer Festival was the principal inspiration behind the Isle of Purbeck Brewery, which started brewing in 2002. The brewery now supplies pubs throughout the UK and also organises and supplies other annual events in Purbeck as well as national beer festivals.
